Payroll officer and finance administrator

Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking a highly-experienced payroll officer and finance administrator to join our knowledgeable, professional team.

Reporting to the Financial Accountant, this position will be responsible for providing accurate payroll services, and undertaking accounts receivable and payable administration.  Key to this role is meticulous attention to detail and an unflappable professional nature.

To be successful you will have strong experience in processing complex payrolls, understanding and being able to interpret relevant legislation, while being committed to performing with high levels of accuracy and within defined timelines.  And if you have accounts payable and receivable experience… even better.

Customer Connections Designer - Subdivisions

We are looking to expand our team with a high energy, detail focused Customer Connections Designer with experience in electricity network design and construction, particularly subdivision reticulation, to help us deliver safe and cost-effective solutions for customers wanting to connect to our network. 

Working closely with our in-house field operations team, the successful candidate will be someone who excels in a collaborative and values based environment who leads safety from the front by ensuring designs are produced with the safety of our people, the public and assets front of mind.  The ability to multi task, prioritise workload and providing a high standard of service is critical to the role.

Key aspects of the role include working with customers to understand and meet their requirements for connection to the network, the production of detailed, consistent and compliant designs, and professional handover to field operations teams for delivery.

The successful applicant will have a qualification in electricity supply or electrical engineering, a minimum of three years relevant experience in designing high voltage network extensions and low voltage subdivision reticulation.  A high level of commercial acumen would be advantageous.  As this role liaises with numerous external stakeholders, outstanding communication skills, both spoken and written, are essential.

We are currently looking for qualified, experienced Line Mechanics. These challenging and rewarding roles will be joining well-disciplined teams of technical staff in the safe delivery of critical works and rostered fault response.

Reporting to one of our Field Services Managers these roles take responsibility for the delivery of allocated works and will require people with a genuine passion for health and safety, who take complete ownership of their accountabilities and the safety of all staff and contractors working with them.

This role will suit technically astute, hands-on experienced professionals who are adept at managing a complex workload of new build and maintenance based electrical projects.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • 4+ years' post qualification experience
  • Solid understanding of health and safety processes
  • In-depth technical knowledge of the electrical distribution industry
  • Modern and professional work ethic
  • A strong sense of resilience, tenacity and the drive to succeed
  • Excellent all round interpersonal skills and customer liaison style
