HOW to load the app

Get the most out of the outages app

Follow the instructions below for how to register to receive automated outage updates.

Android users

Add the Counties Power App to your android smartphone

In your smartphone’s internet browser (Chrome etc) type in app.countiespower.com


You will be asked if you would like to add CP App to your home screen. 

Click on Add to Home Screen to add the app to your phone.

If this message doesn’t come up - go to the three dots at the top right hand corner of the screen and select Add to Home Screen.

You can now access the app via the icon on your phone.

Open up the app by tapping it.

 

Apple users

Add the Counties Power App to your apple smartphone


In your Apple smartphone’s internet browser (Chrome, Safari etc) type in   app.countiespower.com

To add the app to your home screen tap on the below symbol at the bottom on the screen.

You will be asked if you would like to add CP App to your home screen. 
Click Done.

You can now access the app via the icon on your phone.

Open up the app by tapping it.

 

register for text or email alerts

Go to the bottom right hand corner of the screen where the three red lines are.

Click the three red lines. 

Select this then select Login
Select Register Now.
Fill out the form with your details and select Register
Please ensure you fill out all fields. 

When you submit these details you will receive a 6 digit verification code via text to your phone.

Enter your 6 digit verification code and select Confirm.

Please ensure you enable notifications on your smartphone settings so you receive this text verification from us.


Go to Settings, Notifications and enable Messages/Text

 

save your favourite locations

Click on Locations.
Select to add a new location.

Enter your ICP number (this can be found on your electricity bill from your retailer).


Add a nick name such as ‘Home’.

Enter your address. Select the message type you would like to receive - text and/or email.

Select the timings you would like to receive messages.

Select Save.


You have now registered a location to receive notifications on. If there is a network outage that includes this address you will be notified on the details you have registered with.

 

Report a power fault

Select Report at the bottom of the screen.

Fill out the required fields on the form.
 

Select Report Fault. You have now reported a fault. 

 

Viewing active power outages

You can view faults on the network  by selecting Outages at the bottom of the screen.

Select the outage or planned shutdown you would like to view. A screen will pop up with information on that fault. 
You can select if you would like to receive notifications about this fault once you are registered and have logged in.
